The Course of study of General Nursing Midwifery is for 3 years and 6 months. The GHM Course is recognized by Government of Karnataka, Karnataka Nursing Council, Bangalore and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. Vide Letter No. 18-674-2000 INC respectively.

ELIGIBILITY
Pass in PUC, PDC, 10+2 Intermediate with any subjects.

OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE
Demonstrate awareness of skills required in the Nursing process in the provisions of health care and Nursing of Patients.

Demonstrate ability in self awareness, self education in personal and professional life. Promotion of health, precautions against illness, restoration of health and rehabilitation.

PHILOSOPHY
The International Council of Nurses states that the unique function of the nurse is to assist the individual who is sick. The performance of those activities contributing to health or its recovery that he would perform un-aided if he has the necessary strength or knowledge. And to do, this is in such a way as to hold him gain independence as rapidly as possible.

ADMISSIONS
The candidates are informed to go through the prospectus before filling up the application for the purpose of admission. Application is attached to this prospectus. The completed applications form shall be sent to the college office with xerox copies of the relevant documents. After scrutinizing the application and the documents selection shall be made.

All information given in the application form should be correct. Eligible candidates will be called for the interviews. Candidates coming for interview should bring all the original certificates. Candidates without the original certificates will not be allowed for the interview.

During the interview, weight age will be given to candidates who have served in areas of needs, or who are sponsored by the sponsoring agencies of this institution, all such claims by the candidates to be supported by relevant certificates.

After the admission under no circumstances the fee once paid shall not be refunded.
